Join us for the 24 Hours of Le Mans 2025!

If you thought this year's race was good, wait 'til you see - and hear - what's in store for '25

We’ve just about caught our breath after this year’s nail-biter of a 24 Hours of Le Mans. The scrap between Ferrari, Porsche and Cadillac during the opening hours of the race, the various rainstorms throwing the field into complete disarray, and a loose door nearly costing the number 51 Ferrari 499P a shot at victory are just a handful of reasons why it was a belter. As it is every year, frankly, so make sure to clear 11th to 15th June 2025 in your diary, as you’re not going to want miss next year’s 24.

Yes, yes, there’s still the best part of ten months still to go, but the race has been so utterly gripping these past few years that tickets have been selling out much faster than usual. You can thank the booming response to the hypercar regulations for that, with 23 entrants split across nine manufacturers in the top class alone in 2024 - up from just five in 2022. And there’ll be a new team in town for next year’s race, with Aston Martin finally bringing a prototype version of the V12 Valkyrie to the fray. That alone is a good enough reason to join us at la Sarthe next June.

As ever, we’ll be camping within a stone’s throw of the circuit with 1st Tickets. Not only does that mean you’ll never be far away from the action, but you’ll also get a load of perks such as:

  • Pre-allocated camping pitches mean there's no rush, your space will be set out for you whenever you arrive
  • Cooked meals included (3x full English breakfast and 3x evening meals)
  • Fenced perimeter for your peace of mind
  • On-site security, including night patrols at the weekend, to protect your car and belongings
  • Private toilets and warm showers, so no long queues for the facilities
  • Large marquee with a cash bar - a social hub for all campers whatever the weather, with live TV coverage of the race so you don't miss any of the action
  • Free Wi-Fi access

The package also includes general admission to the race and channel crossing (standard to five-day return), with extras such as pre-erected tents, grandstand seating and even helicopter rides all available to add on.

We’re expecting huge demand for the 2025 race, so make sure you’re the first to know about our final plans by registering your interest here. If next year’s enduro is anything like the races we’ve had in recent years, it’s one you’ll definitely want to be there for.

Other Endurance races exist, and are often just as good, if not better. Sorry, but I find the obsession with one race in June a bit unhealthy.......

How is it unhealthy?

And you’re very welcome to attend whatever race you like, it isn’t like anyone is forcing you to attend, watch on tv or even follow anything to do with LM24.

The fact is though, this is THE endurance race. So perhaps that’s where the obsession from fans comes from.

Not sure how it is unhealthy either.

For ease of attending, history and all round enjoyment of track activities and surrounding things like socializing in France, I can’t think of other endurance races that would offer close to the experience. Different experiences, but not Le Mans 24 experience.

Looking forward to it.

I've booked the Eurotunnel as last year I found they'd all sold out. So I booked the crossing as soon as the ACO announced the dates for next year. No luck booking hotels in Le Mans, they were all sold out when I looked.

So I think I'll repeat what I did for 2024 - stay in a nearby town (40 mins away) and commute to the free blue parking on the Sunday.

Sadly I can't go, but having been in the past I can say it's totally worth a trip to experince it at least once in your life, whether you're a petrol head or not. Ditto the IoM TT. Life's too short. Do it.

This isn't THE endurance race it once was.

I've been for 20 years. Obviously a lot has changed, not all of it good. It's a lot more commercial and crowded now. Not to mention far, far more expensive. Why? Well all the Hypercar teams bringing their corporate clients. But how much longer are the likes of Peugeot going to spend millions of Euros to toddle round at the back?

Personally, I wish you all that are going all the very best. I hope you have a great time. But there are other, better value, just as exciting endurance races over 24hours available.

Spa is a better track to watch at than Le Mans, but the 24 isn’t nearly as good a race

Looking forward to going next year. We did Spa 24h earlier this year which was also great. As soon as we secure some tickets we will get the eurotunnel booked.

Just booked ferry - return crossing price had gone up in last few days. Trying Newhaven Dieppe this year as Portsmouth Caen a bit too expensive and less driving than usual Dover or Folkestone to Calais. Did hear that crossings were getting booked up.

Demand at usual campsite down on last year so tickets and car parks should be a bit easier to obtain.

Spa 6 hour in early May is good too - great viewing but a bit colder at night than Le Mans in mid-June, Spa did have a lot more sun though.

I take it the reason it says 'no grandstand tickets left' is because they haven't actually been released yet?

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

It might not be the race it was, but Le Mans is so much more than just the track action. It's the camping with your mates,it's the run down with the car stickered up, it's the Hotel de France for lunch one day, it's all the peripheral stuff that just adds to the experience. Is it healthy? Maybe not the amount of meat and beer consumed, but for some it's the thing they build their year around

Maybe for you, but not for me. I enjoy going as much now and I did in the 90s. It's a bit different, but still a great trip.

Absolutely this. I have been going for 40 years but have missed 5 in that time and every time I miss one i regret it. As you say the race isn't what it was (although the racing probably closer), but its the whole event and experience.
