I’ve got official parking booked for Arnage or Mulsanne. Do we have a hope in hell of getting in either of these car parks or even getting close on Saturday morning? Someone on the facebook group suggested it was impossible on race day but unfortunately we can’t get there any earlier. First time for me and my son and as much as I’d have loved to get there mid week it’s just not been possible…

I think you will be fine in either parking as people move during race day/night/day..

I have never had an issue getting in during the race, let alone before.

Your bigger issue might be mobility nearer the track as a lot of people arrive during this time.

Thanks. Good to hear parking's unlikely to be a big issue then, just getting there that might be..

The earliest we could realistically arrive in the area is around 8am, should I expect it to be gridlocked by that time?

If there's any known alternative approaches to Arnage that might avoid the worst of the congestion or known hotspots, I'd be happy to try them!

Last year I didn't get to Arnage until about 1030, straight in and no queuing. I'll probably arrive the same sort time this year. But suggest using the Waze satnav app with the car park routes (which I used) as they reroute you to avoid traffic build up.

That's great to hear and puts my mind at rest a little smile Will try Waze as suggested. Thanks!

Glad we’re not the only ones arriving last of the last. Expo parking for us.

The joys of not being able to book time off work!
