Motor Events around Le Mans?

Tomorrow (Monday) for a show at Monce-en-Bellin.
There's the unofficial car show at the Hotel de France on Friday => https://lhoteldefrance.fr/en/motoring-heritage/

What’s the set up with heading out to hotel de France please. There's the unofficial car show at the Hotel de France on Friday => https://lhoteldefrance.fr/en/motoring-heritage/
Never gone out there over the years.
Is the place mobbed?
Is there a certain time of day to go?
Can you actually get a drink / food or the place booked out?
Do you park elsewhere and walk to square?
Or quite a nice flow of people and relaxed?

It is always pleasantly busy, not over run with people like the CBW event. If one were a snob you'd say it was a higher calibre of LMer in attendence (we're probably the biggest scummers there by a long way). You will definitely see more panama hats than baseball caps (and deffo some pink trousers).LM240 said:

People just come and go, there's always plenty of people there mid-morning, over lunch to mid-afternoon.LM240 said:

Easy enough to get a beer, they use the same sort of plastic beer cup as the circuit so you can happily stroll round the square with it. You might get lucky and get a table outside, but don't expect to eat anything.
There's several other restaurants in the village. Or stop somewhere on the way home.
There's also a large supermarket on the road back to LM to pick up supplies for Friday evening etc.

There's a public car park, plus on-street parking in the area around the square, it you see a spot you take it, but it might take a couple of laps of the village to spot something....LM240 said:

Relaxed is probably the correct word, it is a nice alternative to the crowds, hustle and bustle at the circuit or in LM city centre.Edited by Truckosaurus on Monday 10th June 07:24
This was good last year, bigger that I expected: -

at the same time as the driver procession in town?
Yes, used to be in the morning before the ACO decided to have racing on, they have to wait for the track to open bennno said:
Is the track now open in the afternoon? Thats quite the choice of a drive up and down the mulsanne vs an afternoon of fun in the town
Mulsanne in a pedal car is quite tough https://www.24h-lemans.com/en/program
