I noticed on ::this map:: from another thread that it shows a campsite called Heronniere where Bleu Sud used to be.

I remember last year it was all what looked like corporate pitches, but was it for sale this year? I would've looked for Bleu Sud when I booked, but not Heronniere...

Yep, Bleu Sud (my old home) but with a new name...and the little "privé" (private) on its tent icon.

Don't know who's got it but looks like another classic campsite bites the dust. Bleu Sud gone, Blue Nord gone (bar Pistionheads), Maison Blanche gone...

Also big chunks of Houx and Houx Annexe taken out of service in recent years.

I’ve a sneaking suspicion that’s where Tertre Rouge is heading.
It’s so close to the track & village, and they recently upgraded all the power hook-ups.
And tickets are becoming more and more difficult to source.
I wouldn’t be at all surprised if it went full on glamping/corporate hospitality in the next few years.

This coupled with the recent investment and expansion at Beausejour suggest that the corporate and VIP camping will be located at the "top" of the circuit and the rest of us will have to make do with an expanded BSJ as our more frequent home. I don't mind so much, I picked this site so I can walk to Arnage for Mad Friday and enjoy a drink whilst my car is safely back at camp, but for those who just want to not have to walk for 15 minutes to get to the track, it's not going to be enjoyable.

Plus improvements to the shuttle bus service to get people to/from the outlying campsites.

I see there is a support race on the Sunday test day as well now, so it won't be long until they look to make it a week long festival with track action all week.
