Route from Cherbourg to lemans

Hi all,
We are on the overnight ferry from Portsmouth to Cherbourg on the Wednesday night.

We found some decent roads last year but after some tips on places and routes to go. Ideally ones with tunnels and free of traffic

Not looking to shatter the land speed records just a good drive down

Also has anyone been to the Renault museum which it thought was in dieppe but no longer looks to be there
