I’ve read on Reddit and another PH forum post that it is possible to run the entire circuit, I believe it is open to public access on the Friday but wanted to clarify the details (if anyone on here has done it!) e.g. what time the circuit is open, where you can enter the track etc. as I will be camping in Beausejour! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Friday morning used to be the time to run /cycle the track but there's racing now so you'd need to wait until 3pm. I usually start at the entry to the Mulsanne Straight, where the track meets the public highway. You'll be able to do the same from BSJ, just turn left out of the campsite, pass under the track, left at the roundabout and then enter the track where the public highway merges with the entrance to the Porsche Curves.

The circuit is open from 15:00 on Friday, you will need a GA ticket if you want to walk/jog/cycle/e-bike or scooter the full circuit.

It’s worth the effort. biggrin

The last years we are staying at BSJ and I bike the Track. I have been entering the track right after the first Schikane at the straight. To get there I take a right on the round about at the campsite and keep going straight till you get to the track. Till now there was a small opening in the gate to get throught, no problem.

Tuesday 14.00 to 18.00 for the pit walk, there’s track action all day Wednesday

Sadly I won’t be arriving until early Thursday morning, so will miss the pit walk in that case which is a shame. But a jog around the circuit on Friday will be a memorable experience for sure! Thanks again to everyone who’s replied, especially with regards to directions from BSJ.

Is it possible to rent a bike or scooter at the circuit? I feel like going around but walking the whole thing seems like a lot.

You can't really ride a bike once you are inside the trackside area (and might even be against the rules), so it is just to get you to/from the distant campsites.

I meant bicycle and scooter as in the irritating electric thing with tiny wheels that tries to kill you on the sidewalk these days, does that change things?

In previous years you could get most of the way round, just not on the closed section from the Porsche curves to Tertre Rouge.

In 2022 we were able to go all the way on bikes and actually joined a bunch of cars from the support races on the start finish straight.

I have biked the track the last two years. I agree the villagae and paddock area are closed for bikes but on friday the track should not be an issue.

I've run teh circuit the past fcouple of years, and in 2022 the lads hired bikes and cycled next to me. The hire price was extortionate for a couple of hours, and they were located behind the pits. No issues cycling on circuit when its closed on the friday.

I'm keen to run a lap of the circuit, problem is though the track's open to the public at the same time as the drivers' parade in town, which you really really don't want to miss and there isn't enough time to do both

Has anyone here ever done the circuit in rollerblades? Wondering if the elevation changes are a bit too much.

Surely doable if start near pit straight and then once you’ve done Dunlop bridge the rest is relatively easy. Can always put a few extra turns on way up
