It depends how old you are
For me its worth it to be able to quickly go for a piss without queuing for ages
There are also showers there, and lockers to stash items.
The bar areas / hospitality areas are nice for a break from the crowds now that its sold out
I have also done the tour during the race, going via the tunnels under the track to the pitside, and that was great
Expensive, but it is Le Mans

I'm not sure I'd pay extra for it - you get slight discounts on food and drink and somewhere inside to sit - but busy at peak periods (especially if weather is poor).
If the olden days the showers in the ACO building were worth the membership fee alone, but since they've got their act together with the camping facilities I've not used them in a decade.

Showers, bathrooms and bag storage are good at T17. Last year it was oversubscribed and a bit of a zoo with lack of seating and long lines for food. I'm told they cut down the numbers this year so we will see. My, wife and I will sample the delights once again this year as I booked early September 23 before race tickets were released.
