As far as I can work out, last year this local community TV channel transmitted the driver's parade and probably a lot more.

Anyone know anything about this? Yes I know its lazy watching it on the TV

Don’t blame you for watching on telly, we’ve never really got to see much of the parade always really busy around the route but we always go in for a meal and few beers got to love the atmosphere there.

I had a local channel on the tele that was showing some of the race, can't remember the station name. It was cutting back and forth to the track with a load of other local news though. This was through the satellite on the camper.

Thanks, that sounds right. LMTV is on terrestrial, satellite and subscription, in the evenings only, and seems to be a selection of short programs on news, sport and local events. Must be worth stalking

We did the parade for the first time last year in the 12 we've been going. Didn't see a thing of the parade. But loved being in the town soaking up the atmosphere.

I can see the attraction of this, have been a couple of times myself, watching it on the telly less so.

We didn’t do the parade last year for the first time. Well most years we have been in to the city had a nice lunch then watched some of the parade. Last year we didn’t go in at all due to the activities trackside.
