Maybe I've missed something. €103 (£90) for a GA weekend ticket seems pretty good value.
And €115 for the week. My first general entry ticket cost me 230 francs in 1986. On the basis of 10 francs to the pound, an increase of £67 in 38 years doesn't sound so bad.... In fact, as an ACO member, my ticket will be €69. Cheap as chips for what we get. Edited by Aysedasi2 on Thursday 12th October 17:44

Few changes further down the link - just 4 tickets per member in early period and then total rises to 6 like public.
Camping looks delayed - mentions new pitches.
Whats carpooling for Green tickets?
Not a scooby. I notice there is no mention of getting the old camping areas back. I didn't expect there to be either....Camping looks delayed - mentions new pitches.

Or to put it another way - 24hrs or racing for the same price as 45min of the British F1 GP.DangerDoom said:
Yeah totally. Even with the channel crossing and additional travel I think LM probably works out about the same (or even better) when compared with a Silverstone F1 weekend. Very different events of course; still praying for WEC to return to Silverstone.
Entrance tickets for the GP race day are £400 . Last time I went, about 4 years ago, you got a grandstand seat as well for that price. I must add that my wife won 2 tickets and I had the pleasure of parking a Jaguar in Mercedes's car parkYou also have to remember that if you go for the full event, a full race week ticket gets you all the practice and qualifying on Wednesday and Thursday as well. If you go really early, you can do scrutineering and the Test Day as well. Still a bargain for the greatest race/event of them all.

Meh, I've never been a fan of the Silverstone circuit and it was one of the more overpriced WEC races (bad enough when it was the 6hrs/worse when it dropped to the 4hrs...but prices stayed the same).Personally it's the Portimao race I find myself pinning for in 2024. Nice "mini Spa" circuit, cheap flights, cheap hotels, cheap hire cars, cheap tickets - and swapping the UK in April for southern Portugal in April for a weekend was nice too!🙂
I'd go back to Silverstone for the WEC like a shot. I always did all three days, had two curry evenings in between them and had great fun wandering around (searching for a grandstand that they might have opened.... ). Relatively easy to get to as well. And with the current state of the WEC with the hypercars, it'd be pretty exciting too. I know it's not everyone's favourite circuit, but I wouldn't cut my nose off to spite my face.....
Looking at ACO membership for the discounted tickets.
Is it worth getting https://www.lemans.org/en/aco-members/club-offers/... with access to the members areas - assume this is guaranteed access as opposed to non guaranteed with normal membership (plus only need to buy 1 membership per two people as the other can have the access to members areas for €52)??
Also does anyone know that if you sit in the upper left (facing the track, right as you look at it from the front) of T4 can you see the track both sides of the Dunlop bridge?

Chappelle members area was very busy during race and did hear some people couldn’t get in even with the access bands at peak periods for 2023 (each member could then buy 3 guest passes at 40 or 45)
Should be able to access bar and restaurant toilets in T17/18 without it but some members without the access bands did struggle I believe.
Worth it for program and small discounts on beer and food - better service less queues and toilet options if you are there for full Thursday - if just there for race days it’s marginal.
Some relaxing areas of Chappelle with screens and shade and a banked area with views above fencing down towards Esses and good views just after Dunlop.
On the grandstand, not sat in it but Dunlop bridge pretty high and solid so probably not unless there’s a view from front through the track bit

I've never done T4 but done T5 (Dunlop) many times and based on that my guess would be "No". There's a LOT of cladding on the Dunlop bridge so it keep doesn't have any circuit view and keeps working as a walkway rather than gumming up with spectators and I think that's going to block any view towards the Forest Esses - or if you can see anything it would be the cars just as they exit the Esses/enter the right turns towards Terte Rouge.RL17 said:

I don't believe anyone without a band was supposed to have access to the bar and loos etc in T17/T18 but I know that some people did. As I understand it, it is intended for that building to be strictly members only. My band was certainly checked every time I went in there - and has been for as long as I can remember. I rather suspect that the ACO will be tighter on this next year. Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
