There customer service has gone down hill since they were taken over.
I called them last week and was on hold for an hour and then gave up, this week I still couldn't get through to anyone so mailed them that nobody was answering the phones but got no reply.
I know their response will be high levels of calls etc, but I personally think they have all gone on two week's hiatus post Le Mans and don't care that people are wasting their time calling.

Mixed bag I found with them this year at Porsche curves.
Cons
Breakfast croissant terrible considering in France.
Food okay but more choice would be good. Also if doing a bbq make it fresh and serve. Not held in sweaty tin cans. People don’t mind waiting for fresh bbq.
Card machine didn’t work for part of weekend, cash only.
Better phone charging facilities rather than everyone daisy chaining extension leads on top of extension leads.
Also the main boss lady while strict her customer service was not that welcoming. We are paying customers after all.
Showers freezing cold Thursday morning
Pros
Did enjoy the interview with Allan Mcnish one evening. More of that would be perfect.
Security I felt was good bands being double checked at entrance.
Good crowd, ie no asbo types.
Viewing area on site worked out really well
Easy 15min walk to entrance.
Would I book again with them. Yes. The cons I can live with the pros and security are worthy the extra money.

Been with them a few times and this was the possibly worse.
Nothing to completely ruin the weekend just niggly things that were not as good as last time.
Got to the site by mid day on Friday, the pitch we were allocated at the gate had someone in it, they were obviously at the circuit so we were were offered 2 others, the first was at the base of the bank, far left hand side, it was effectively half a pitch and on a slope, not big enough for our tent let alone get a car on it as well, the second pitch had a tree in the middle of it. Had we brought a camper with an awning we'd have been screwed, we were told take it or leave it by the lovely lady in charge. Strange though because there were plenty of other pitches that were free. Not sure how you pre book a pitch, maybe we should have just taken a decent available one and worried about the consequences afterwards. We took the pitch with the tree, wasn't great but we made it work.
I'm sure the camping pitches are smaller and they've crammed more onto the site.
Apparently arriving on Thursday wasn't great, total chaos we heard from some of our neighbours.
Toilets clean, but the showers were always cold, maybe I was just unlucky..
Screens in the beer tent were tiny and only one was working, I'm sure they've had decent sized screens previously.
Food wasn't great.
We were asked to leave the beer tent, we'd taken our own LeMans plastic cups and bought their beer, one of their guys collecting rubbish/cups etc asked us to leave because he assumed we'd brought the beer with us and not bought theirs. Sure enough we put him in his place, didn't buy another one and didn't return. Screens didn't matter after this one.
On a positive note the Mazda lads next to us on a stag do were brilliant, great fun and really considerate. Good luck with the wedding mate if you are on pistonheads.
As I said at the start, nothing to ruin a great weekend just niggly annoying stuff.

OOPS! I must apologise as I think it might have been my group on your pitch!Nothing to completely ruin the weekend just niggly things that were not as good as last time.

Was it top right hand corner opposite banking?
In our defence we were told the area behind us was a roadway, that’s why we parked the cars there as the pitch we were allocated definitely wasn’t the size of the 6 we paid for.
When we returned from the circuit late Friday evening it was mentioned by the lady on the gate, pissed me off a bit as she knew who I was and had my number due to ticketing problems
Have to say that there seemed to be a lot of “wedging” people in
Overall found the site pretty good, particularly the campers, friendly, sociable bunch, facilities not so much, but then we’ve been spoilt by using Thomas Cook behind Bugatti circuit
Just to add my thoughts about TD. After lots of issues through the booking phase, we stayed in the Event Tent section. My group noticed distinct lack of security throughout the weekend (the main TD site was better at this to be fair). At one point whilst down the back of the site for a shower I was asked a question by someone with no wristband and who had walked into the site totally lost.
So it really shouldn’t have been a surprise when I awoke 2.30am Sunday night to find someone in mine and my lads tent robbing our belongings. He scarpered like a ninja when he saw me wake up but had clearly been in there a while as he a stack of items he was taking.
Now I’m not sure whether I’m more shocked by this incident or by the utter lack of support after it happened. There was a security guard asleep in his car by the gate and I woke him up only to find he didn’t speak a word of English. He called someone over the radio who was trying to suggest to him this was impossible and couldn’t have happened based on the debate they got into between each other. Anyway the rest of the conversation over the next few minutes whilst he searched the area was extremely challenging. I get I’m in France so there’s some duty on me as well to be able to speak their language but there wasn’t a single member of TD anywhere to be found to report the incident too either then or at around 6.30am when we had to leave. Anyway unsurprisingly neither my young son or I felt like going back to sleep and just wanted to be out of there as quickly as possible.
Since our return to the UK, I’ve sent a couple of emails and repeatedly tried to contact TD but with no success or response. Every avenue of their phone menu system except if you select new booking (I’ve tried them all) ends up with you being referred to the FAQs part of the website and then cut off or you return to the main menu.
Edit….I’ve finally today gotten through to someone on their website chat function but been told because I didn’t report it to a TD rep at the time it’s not their problem!
I’m not looking for any re-imbursement necessarily but to not be able to have my concerns listened to is almost as upsetting as having a stranger come into your tent and take your child’s watch of his wrist whilst he was sleeping!
Interested to know if anyone else was robbed in either site across the weekend.
Based on the fact that the security was utterly appalling even before the incident but also due to the utter lack of incident management TD has in place ( in the pack there’s an emergency number to ring which I tried and was a dead line) I can safely say they will never be a company I deal with again and I hope some of you take heed of my comments. I know the locals have a reputation for it in the public campsites but that’s why I chose one with security and paid for the privilege! Turns out it wasn’t worth it. ??. My son thankfully didn’t awake at the time, but after what had happened I couldn’t leave to report it without waking up him up as I wasn’t going to now leave him on his own. He’s struggled to sleep properly afterwards so as you can imagine I’m pretty dismayed by the whole experience.
