Already thinking about next year and perhaps going for something a bit different (and indulgent).

Has anyone done the full Panoramic 24 package through ACO?

Or anything similar?

I don’t think it would necessarily be a better experience but open to trying it.

We went with Aston Martin on a package.

It’s expensive but we had:

- paddock access, we’re in the pits a few times including watching 2 stops overnight from a foot away.
- golf carts on request to take you anywhere
- a shuttle to Mulsanne and golf club access to watch
- free booze start to finish
- free food
- big hospitality suite by the track near Dunlop with comfy trackside seating
- access to the team hospitality in the paddock
- parking
- met a few drivers
- grid walk
- pit lane at finish, ended up standing with the Ferrari mechanics in garage 51 at the end, as you can imagine they were excited
- much more on top

It was great and given how rammed it all was made it an easy time. But it was not cheap. We go every 4 years.

They only offer a few places on it, we were with a group of around 16 I think, all AM nuts like us so we had a blast.

The Ferrari equivalent package was 5x the price apparently.

It looks like the ACO packages ranged from EUR1200-3400 for the week, which might be an interesting option compared to a grandstand seat and buying your own food! The cheapest one is at Karting, and I haven't worked out if the view is any good.

I heard Ferrari was £15k from some folks who were on it.

Aston was around £3k, organised by Works. Everyone there was a long time works customer and I already knew a few of them from prior events (Goodwood, Ice Driving, Prior Le Mans etc). Very limited numbers though. I felt very poor when discussing the Valkyrie one of the other guests had on order!

My dad goes with a few others on the Aston package every year. I've never done it but they definitely like it.

Ferrari option sounds ridiculous. Money no object target audience.

Aston one sounds good. I like the interaction with teams that would get you.

I was looking at the panoramic option at around €2200. A lot but gives a fair bit.

I don’t really see the value in the other ACO options.

Maybe even just adding paddock/pit walk would be a nice change and a treat. Rest of our trip and arrangements I’m pretty happy with and stays in the nice but not ridiculous category.

The paddock access really just means you can walk along behind the pits and we also had access to the team lounge in that area so could use it as a base for food and drink at that end.

Getting into the pit garage was harder, we did that a couple of times escorted, and given it was managed there were only a couple of us in there and we were lucky to see two tyre swaps in a row when the rain came down.

We also just ran through on the last lap and got into the pit lane for the end, beside the Ferrari Car 51 garage; the security people let me and my son through then held everyone else (as technically we were not allowed there), but we had a great experience and then watched the podium prizes from pit lane.

Did you not spot the person who was clearly on it during the race? One of the times they cut to the Ferrari garage in the back was a guy wearing possibly THE worst bit of car manufacturer merch. I've ever seen - and I've seen a field full of near identical Porsche 911s, each attended by an almost identical Porsche 911 owner, each decked out from head to toe in Porsche branded clothing! But this guy was wearing either a Ferrari designer hawaiian shirt or possible pajama top (I'm still can decide). It was truely horrible - but you know probably cost him a solid 3 figures!

I wouldn't buy any of that for £1 let alone £1000

I read somewhere that Ferrari make more money form merchandising and licensing then car sales. I’ve know idea if this is true, but it wouldn’t surprise me.

In the same vein but on a level us commoners could contemplate, did anyone upgrade their ACO membership to have access to the members area?

Given how packed the rest of the circuit was, in retrospect this may have been an interesting option but I’m interested to know how full these areas were? Tellingly the promo information said access was subject to availability so want to know whether it was available at all times?

Think there were some reports in other threads of members areas having to put the "Full" signs out and stop additional member entering from time to time.

members areas were well oversold.. no seats, almost not even standing space either, bar rammed and toilets queue... I tried to go in three times and didnt bother again - asked ACO for a refund as not a nice experience.. shame as in previous years, while busy never felt too overcrowded and could always get somewhere to easily watch the track at most times...

The good times are clearly back.

I had been looking at a fancy trip this time around but this year ACO hospitality not being offered for the Sat and Sun only. Either full week or just practice sessions only.

First world problems and all that… but makes it a bit too rich for me, even as a treat.

Clearly confident that enough corporates will just buy the full week packages at that cost.

Standing by for fun on the 7th now hoping for enough tickets where I want.

Had a look - not really my cup of tea - but it’s not much more for wed/Thurs and WE than just practice.

Costs wise to ACO - all the set up and staff must be there all week (maybe more shifts at WE etc).

If was going for it then the relatively small extra price for all days could be more than offset eating and drinking on wed/Thurs when less crowded and less on track - assume it also covers transport to/from Mulsanne area.

Also gets you prime views when GS’s rammed fir hyperbole

3k difference between just practice session and full week!
