Right I'm fed up as I'm not in France.

Can those of us who are watching from the sofa make the most of it?

So far: All I want to see is shots of Rexy.

I'm in at Download watching Metallica on Saturday though so will be tuning in from about 0300 Sunday morning....

Have to wonder how much more assistance Peugeot will get, the weight penalty and new safety car procedure really curtails Toyota and benefits Peugeot who made a hash of the car design.

The design looks OK - it's the fact it keeps breaking down eh..

2.5 seconds off the pace, I can’t help thinking it’s going to sprout a rear wing before the end of the season ….

Race director blames drivers not knowing their left from right.

Session extended to compensate for it.

Seriously wishing I was there, Hypercars are mega. A dangerously addictive place to spend a weekend a year. Back next year for the real deal

To be fair, they couldn't.

And a French race showing bias towards a French team? Who'd have thought it? Despite their best efforts, the ACO couldn't make the Pug competitive.

Yep I’m glued to the box watching free practice, gualifying and hyperpole. Loving the Cadillac, what a sound and the Camaro and Corvette,

Just couldn’t get it together for this year, left it too late, no spaces left. Next year is a must though so will start the Le Mans or bust car search soon.

Enjoy fellow sofa surfers.

The Gf is going on holiday tomorrow morning so I have the house to myself, going to lie on the sofa, with some wine, fresh bread and meats and watch as much of the race as I can before I fall asleep and wake up with a crick in my neck...

I think this must be year 8 watching on the sofa and, once again, I'm looking forward to not missing anything that happens on track, a comfy seat out of the wind/rain/sun, cold beer and decent food. Oh, and a nice clean toilet a few steps away.

I'll miss the atmosphere, the noise and the sights, possibly even the sunshine, but not the general grief of getting there and back, tunnel delays or sitting next to a chain smoking French man for hours on end.

Everyone, enjoy :-)

Similar. Watch every year but last year I got to go was 2017 (and shouldn't have believed the "it's fine" from the Mrs that year about leaving her at home with a 1 year old whilst I sodded off on holiday with my mates...)

This year I will be trying to get my dinosaur-obsessed boys to be interested in Rexy so I can get a bit more screen time of the race in...

We are having a watch party. One of our group has a “pub” in his garden which is the venue.

We go every other year and were planning to be there this year for the centenary but COVID years and other things scuppered us. We went last year.

Roll on 2024!
