Friday Pitwalk

There’s always been a chance for GE ticket holders to view the pit action on the Friday.

The pitwalk appeared in the early timetables and is in the “unofficial” timetables but I can’t find any mention of it now on any of the official channels.

Anyone know if it’s definitely on or not? Am I just being a bit blind/dumb as usual?

There certainly nothing listed on the official programme on the website (other than 'circuit open' from 8am).

This year, more than any other, is just going to be a case of turn up and see what happens.

There's loads of events listed for Friday with little details, so hopefully they will open the pit lane at some point - there's the track walk/cycle in the afternoon for example.

Thanks Smudger but I know where the program is and it doesn’t mention Pitwalk. The picture next to “track open” shows a Pitwalk but that does not confirm the pit lane will actually be open this year, just the track.

I think that's going to have to be the approach. I don't think I'll bank on the Pitwalk, there's plenty of other places to visit on the Friday and we'll rock up for the historic cars etc a bit later.
