Apologies if this is elsewhere on here, but just wondering if anybody has ever parked their vehicles at the Free Parking sites on the other side of the Aerodrome??

Believe they are called Actisud, Raineries,

Just wondering is it relatively safe for the car to be parked there overnight Sat into Sunday. Or is this just for the French to use???

Interested in the free parking options here too as have only camped previously.

Presumably availability if arriving at the circuit early Saturday is relatively reliable?

Other then the areas listed by the OP, is Fresne worth a punt (map says thats free too?)?

Not planning to move the car during the race once parked.

Lots of cars stay put as the parking is open 24 hours.
No security as such just safety in numbers and lots of pedestrian traffic

I bought a Raineries ticket for 15 euros this week from the ACO site, so can’t believe it’s free for this event.

It's €15 for the Classic, I guess you bought for that week? Different promoter (although in conjunction with ACO, who sell the tickets). General Admission and camping are priced higher too. I think Peter Auto goes for a lower volume, higher pricing model than ACO do for the 24
