Evenin,

Back in the day we used to go to Lemans in our semi sensible cars, hot hatches etc, so this was never an issue, but this year we have 18 lads in 9 cars, none of which are remotely practical! So although we may have room for bodies, bags and tents, we are a little panicked about BBQ and Coolbox situation!

I know it's a big ask, but on the off-chance anyone is taking a van or an estate thats got some space, would you, for cash, beer and a slap up BBQ, be willing to take us 2 bulky items over?

No chance of any drug smuggling going on here, we would get it sent to you direct from amazon to your house, you are even welcome to the BBQ and coolbox FOC afterwards as we wont be able to get them home either!

Shout if you have any space, would love you forever,

Ta

Bungee cords, duck tape and rachet straps and you should be able to keep a cool box attached to a boot lid for transporting purposes.

BBQs. Just take a few bricks or fold up table and buy disposable ones.

We will be shopping there, I’m not proposing taking beers and food with us, that’s not the issue, the issue is the actual cool box and bbq.

When we tried to buy one over there last time (at a large carrefour in town) they had sold out of all the BBQ’s apart from £300 gas ones

Unless you’re all in BaC mono’s, surely you could just nip out to carrefour / intermarche / super u and use the passenger seat?

How big are we talking? I *might* have room in my L322, but we've got quite a lot of kit already biggrin

Thank you for the offer of help all, In the end we have concluded that each taking a smaller coolbox (I've managed to find a small folding one that should fit in my boot) and buying a BBQ when out there is best, just hope we can find somewhere selling them and haver the right tools to build it burger

If you need tools just hung down a TVR or old british classic on the campsite. They willl have a full tool kit in their boot or know who does. hehe

Dont tell everyone, but the Hyper U down at Ecommoy does not get hit as hard as the closer supermarkets, I have never had trouble getting kit there
