Le Mans Podcast

[NUEZ]

Anyone aware of a decent Le Mans podcast or a general motorsport one that will cover Le Mans? I've had a look on my podcast app but couldn't find anything.

I've not been for a few years and haven't paid much attention, so hoping for a bit of an idiots guide kind of thing.

They also do full coverage of WEC races. All available on iTunes, TuneIn etc

I think the 2 Wednesdays prior to race week cover everything. GTs one week, prototypes the other.

Midweek Motorsport pretty good. Takes a while to get going.

Series 18 ep 16 with Andrew Cotton’s (of Racecar Engineering) review of Spa excellent.

Normally 2 hours or so - if skipping through looking for stuff they do summary of what’s to come halfway through

I wish MWM would do chapter markers but given their hardcore fans listen to all 2 hours without fail, regardless of actual content, I can’t see it happening.

I don’t give a toss about radio-control racing, Moto GP, or press release of the week/whatever.

Indeed. Whenever I listen to a Midweek Motorsport podcast the FastForward button gets a right hammering. I'm not interested in F1 so skip all of that chuntering.

This time of year I start listening live to get into the Le Mans Spirit (I am a dullard) and then it seems much easier to just have it as background noise, although they get much more On Topic for sportscars nearer to the LM 24hrs.

At least Marshall Pruetts has separate episodes for Sportscars and Indycars so you can bin off 50% of the content from the off. He needs to sort out his SEO as if you search for 'week in sportscars' on my podcast app it doesn't find anything.

I used to listen to MWM live, but podcast it now to forward through the first 10 mins and the last half hour when it’s been an F1 week, F1 team by team is very well done, it’s just not of interest to me
