Who else is going solo?
Discussion
Hello motorsport fans! I’m going to LM24h for the first time this year (also relatively new to PH) and unfortunately didn’t manage to coordinate with any of my pals, so I’m going solo. I can imagine there are many like me, and while I can tolerate my own company quite well, I know these events can also be enjoyed better with others.
Other than waiting to see if serendipitously I make friends with my camping neighbours, I thought I’d write here to see if there’s anybody that would like to hang out at times. I am also driving from the outskirts of London, landing on the continent with the train on Thursday 8 in the morning, and would be fun joining a caravan for the drive down. My name is already on the corresponding Wiki that was just started.
So, if you are traveling by yourself but would like to find some folk to hang out with, or if you are in a group and welcome members to your party, why don’t we connect here.

I can assure you Your going to have a great time, all I could add is that if you can take a bike do it .its a great way to get around The Start and the race end are fantastic .if you can watch these from the stands at the circuit it's a great location but gets very busy
It's going to be a fantastic event

Thanks mate. I’m sure it’ll be great indeed. Good tip about the bike, le me see if that’s feasible. It's going to be a fantastic event
I have a sit at Raccordement so should be able to enjoy a fair amount of the race from a good vantage point.
Where are you camping?
Garage Vert, answered my own question! We're in the PH Bleu Nord site, would suggest you find some Garage Vert buddies on here.
Making friends at LM is usually very easy, people usually stumble over with a beer within seconds of arriving

We're on Garage Vert it's a superb site has power water it's inside the perimeter so there no bag checking once you in for beer so Rrive with tipple of choice ( not in glass bottles stash it on the way in ) .security by the main gate and proper loos .
It's where the shuttle trains start from makes getting around easier on the legs .

Don't forget to take a small pocket AM radio plus 'phones so you can listen to RLM throughout, essential.

Thanks for the info. I was originally hoping for PH Blue Nord but had to settle for Vert. Glad to hear is good, was a bit nervous about it.It's where the shuttle trains start from makes getting around easier on the legs .

You've got a seat in what I think is the best tribune. Overlooking the Ford Chicane, opposite the entrance to the pits, a great view up the pits straight, a short walk to The Village etc.
It's a great view from there. I was in there about 5 years ago and before that in 1992! Beware though, the seats have no backs and are quite small if you're reasonably broad in the beam (!) and are tough on the posterior after a couple of hours! Hopefully you're in one of the higher rows where the view is really good. WickedWizzzard said:

You did well to get Vert. I have a pal who has always camped there but failed this time. He's been searching for a Vert ticket now for weeks. hyper jay said:
