Just had email about this exhibition. It's not too clear, but I assume this is in the museum, which as an ACO member you used to get free access to during race week. But this is 18e for an unguided tour, the guided tour is not available during race week which I assume is to get more people through. This has over 65 winning cars and 21 exceptional cars so is something on the list for a visit during the week.

However, I also thought that the Friday evening and maybe Saturday (not confirmed) had a parade of cars which sound similar to these, around the full circuit. Which makes me wonder where this is, and what times the viewing may or may not be open considering they'll have to close this to get the cars in and out. So is this actually in the museum, or could this be in the paddock area where they've had other exhibitions.

Just pondering whether its worth 18e to see these sitting there behind barriers, or just wait for them to be out on track.

It's included with the GA ticket.

exactly the same question I had when I received the email and immediately thought how poor the communication is from the ACO - I'm glad it is included in the GA ticket but they could have made it clear in the comms. BTW The expo isn't in the museum .. it's too big and is outdoors with the 100 cars they say they have on the other side of the circuit..

Thats good news. I do wonder how many people (like me) might have thought about getting a ticket in advance, wondering if they might sell out, then find out that they are already included. I hope its not going to be like the Endurance Legends paddock at the Classic which we failed to find.

I was just about to buy a couple of tickets when I saw the post on Instagram. I assume this year is going to be organised chaos from what I have seen so far. If I can find my tent and the track I'll be happy.

So based on the opening times from the museum site I would presume that after 3pm Friday the cars will be moved to a paddock and prepared for the parade laps after 9pm, then returned and parked up by 3am. It would be amusing to see the state of whoever rocks up at 4am Saturday!!

Not the best time for pictures of some classic motors I have to say.

During the week of the 24 Hours of Le Mans :
- Monday and Tuesday : 9am - 8pm
- Wednesday : 9am - 10pm
- Thursday : 9am - 11pm
- Friday : 9am - 3pm
- Saturday : 3am - 3pm
- Sunday : 9am - 7pm

I hate to say this, but after nearly 40 years, I still haven't been to the Museum

I've been a couple of times. It's handy for getting out of the sun and the toilets are quite nice.

A cynic might think the ACO have made things unclear to get people to buy tickets that they don't actually need, however it's not a dastardly plot, they're just utterly useless at clear communication.

No change there then, for 40 years
