Hi All, each year a group of us go to the classic welcome at Saint Saturnin. We love being in the PH field. We usually register on the PH site to get a pass for the PH field.

Can i ask if it is the same this year and is there a link to the PH registration page? Or have i missed something?

Jumping in on this thread. We’re going to Le Mans in car that’s a bit more interesting this year. We always go to the CBW but this year we’d like to park in the event itself rather than the grass field across the road. Do you need to register or obtain a pass in any way or do they still just direct you to the appropriate car park when you get there depending on what you’re driving?

You dont need a ticket to get in. It is whether the marshals deem your car to be old or interesting enough.

The usual rule of thumb is that any 2 seater 'sports car' or anything 'old' gets waved in but any interesting modern hot hatch or saloon (or rare exotic estate car smile ) gets ignored.

You may have to be content with having the nicest car in the public car park.

We managed to get in to the main event in a new Discovery back in 2018 just after the new model was launched. Even some 2 door cars have been known to be turned away so the advice is to arrive at the CBW early & wave your PH sign vigorously hehe

At the behest of the guys at the gate. "Interesting" gets main event, sporty gets into back field,
Regular stuff gets directed to car park before entrance or just waved through and out !

This seems spot on, Golf R estate (brand new at the time), and a B5 RS4 we were previously directed to the right.

This year we’re going in a GT3 so hopefully might get directed to the left!

Full details are now live here and you can sign up to the calendar here. We've only got 100 spaces inside the event, so please only put your name down if you're sure you'll be coming. We'll send the passes out the Monday before the event thumbup
