Copied from the French Gov website

What happens if an unauthorised vehicle circulates in a ZFE-m?

If a vehicle concerned by the restrictions put in place circulates in a ZFE-m or during a period of differentiated traffic, the driver is liable to a flat-rate fine of:

€68 for cars and two-wheelers;

€135 for trucks, buses and coaches.

Communities may issue local derogations from restriction measures based on the criteria they define beyond the cases of exemptions provided for at the national level (in particular for vehicles displaying an inclusion mobility card).

How would you obtain a local derogation for my blue badge driving a 1994 VW T3 petrol camper van

Any suggestions?

Looking on the same page I understand I would not need to display the sticker but just have my blue badge on display assuming after Brexit they would accept a UK mobility badge!!!

You have to get stopped to get a penalty. I don't know but I imagine at that point you show your blue badge. Same as if your Crit Air sticker is in the post, when you can show your official receipt.

Based on https://www.connexionfrance.com/article/French-new... :

"Since full Brexit France does not currently recognise British blue badges according to the latest information from the UK government."

Page is 2 years old so things may have changed.

EDIT: Actually looking at the UK gov. page the advice has been updated to the less than helpful "France: May not recognise non-EU issued parking cards".

Anecdotally, we spent a week and a half in La Rochelle late June last year, with the car parked in an ordinary bay down a side street in the old town, my other half's blue badge on the dash, and managed not to get a ticket.
I did think there was one on the way when I spotted a couple of the local fuzz standing next to it one day, I'd gone to the car to get something from the boot, but they were ticketing the car in front of ours for facing the wrong way in a one way street. We exchanged bonjours and they went on their way, so I think if that's typical then there might not be too much to worry about.

We used our blue badge in France, Belgium and Germany last summer without issue. I can't answer if it would be accepted for Criti 'air but at least in my experience using it still seems to be OK.
