I have spotted that some camping is saying they are not open until Tuesday.
I normally get on Mulsanne on the Sunday bust was hoping to arrive on the Friday for the test weekend.
What are your thoughts, do i take the risk and arrive early?? !!!

There won’t be any security possibly no access to facilities
Bit of a faff but why not go to a local site until your official camping opens

If they have not opened you are able to go and pitch at BSJ until they do. Bit of a pain though!

not a bit of a pain, a huge pain. I was hoping to arrive early and get the pitch ready for the rest of the chaps arriving later.

is anyone else hoping to arrive at Mulsanne or Arnarge early, before the official opening day of the Tuesday?

Where are you getting this information from?

Last I heard they hadn't decided which sites were opening when.

If you can find any camping ticket, buy it. If you do get a camping ticket you will not find much space arriving that late unless you have a reserved place, which is only Houx or the private campsites

If you haven't sourced a camping ticket by now, I fear you will be struggling. to find one - anywhere.

Yes - plan to be at Arnage nice and early on 2 June. While the tickets themselves say 6th, plenty of other places on the ACO pages say 2nd, e.g. here or here.

Thank you. i found a camping not too far away. It´s not like stay at the circuit, but it´s better than sleep on my car....

Are you staying at Houssay? If so come and say hi, I'll be in the Annex with a load of Dutch. (look out for my TVR, it'll be stickered up with Oldwolf on the side)

This looks like a complete b****up - the FAQ came out repeating Arnage/Mulsanne on 6th. The description page still says 2nd. So I asked the ACO:

Dear ACO Please can you clarify if Aire Accueil Arnage will open on 6 June 2023 (https://assets.lemans.org/explorer/pdf/courses/2023/24-heures-du-mans/billetterie/grille-tarifaire-24-heures-du-mans-2023.pdf) or 2 June 2023 (https://www.24h-lemans.com/fr/billets/aires-accueil/arnage-10228576009396) Thank you

Got this reply:
Arnage should open on 6th, but you will have the possibility to camp on another camp prior to that.
You will receive more information by mail before the June 2nd.

If anyone can explain this ... (MBF - Must Be France!!) - according to the FAQ ARNAGE, GARAGE VERT, HOUX-ANNEXE, HOUX-ANNEXE CLUB, HIPPODROME and MULSANNE will be open from Tuesday 6 June until after the race on 11 June.

Last year we got onto Arnage on the Saturday just fine, can't remember what was printed on the tickets.

It appears something may have changed?

The reply wording seems to indicate you can stop on say, Beausejour, for 2, 3, 4 & 5 June and then move to Arnage/wherever on the 6th. Which is completely insane.

same problem here!
normally the first of our group arrives on sundays, but this year everything is different. Garage vert has always been open on Saturdays. Several also wrote to the ACO and unfortunately the answer was always the same, that the campsites would not open until June 6th.
