Green tickets and proof

Hi,

Anyone know what the deal is with Green tickets and how you prove - will they ask you to upload a V5 to show the car you have is a "green" one? I can't imagine they'll want to look at your V5 etc every time you enter the circuit.

They will ask you to upload the vehicle details in order to receive the tickets.

No they don’t as I bought two sets of tickets and have not been asked for any details.

My EV doesn’t arrive till March/April anyway.

In order to do so, you will receive an email to reply with your electrical or hybrid car registration paper, train ticket, carpool receipt from an official platform, tram/bicycle + inhabitation registration paper). Failing to provide the correct proof before the event, your ticket will be swapped for a regular ticket and you will have to pay for the balance of price.

I’ve not had an email asking for anything yet but not concerned as I can’t provide any proof anyway.

I was expecting them to ask for proof at some point so thanks for the reminder to contact them once I have the car and the V5 from the lease company.

They haven’t sent the tickets out yet so there’s time.

I think you will be in for a shock. Quite a few electric cars last time. There’s also a green zone at the track for the first time next year.

Green is not a good colour for cars (except Porsche Green and British Racing Green).

All Jags and bentleys should be green, the correct colour for all british racing cars by tradition
