Parking at Le Mans 24hrs 2023
Discussion
Hi all
Have read many folks are still struggling to get tix and campsites.. thankfully/luckily I'm ok on that front.. but I am struggling on car parking normally I'd get a place in white but that's not happening for 2023....so given the dire car parking situation due to white, green & blue car parks being taken away.. plus other changes wanted to ask if anyone had parked in the free car parks the ACO claims will be available: "We are continuing our policy of offering as many free parking spaces as possible. These will be made available in the following parking areas: Raineries, Rotonde, ActiSud, Etamat, Aérogare and Fresne" there is very little info I can find about any of these - so anyone have any intel???- I'm hoping the ACO will say how big these are /type of access given how low the sump is on my classic...
In addition I was looking at the map and noticed the MMArena has carparks attached to it to the right of the Bugatti circuit /looks like it is next the tram stop but has anyone been abe to access the arena M1 (1000 spaces), M2 (1750 spaces) or M3 (500) car parks during the 24hrs race or do they get taken over by something/corporate/teams?
Failing that it might be parking on a train /tram stop somewhere but want to try and get nearby if poss.
thanks all for your wisdom

There has been free parking on the aerodrome now for a number of years. I assume they'll continue that. I've never used it as I've always had a ticket for Parking Blanc. I managed to buy parking when it opened for members but frankly I'm gutted that I can't have my numbered spot on Blanc.... I've been to the Actisud as they had some ticketing there a few years ago, but it's quite a way away, the other side of the dual carriageway beyond the aerodrome.
Hi all. From what I can find from last years race the airport parking (Raineries?) is free and opens from Wednesday morning.
Does anyone know if you can park there from Wednesday to Monday 24 hours a day?
Also does anyone know if it's safe enough to leave a decent car (but not sports car) there all week?
Any info would be great as unable to get an extra camping pass to get car into campsite plus none of the paid car parks seem to be available.
Cheers

Same here, managed to get GA tickets and grandstand seats, but no parking for our group, so will be taking a chance on the free parking at the airfield. As someone mentioned above the circuit map on the ACO site shows the locations of the free parking.
ETA:- I did read somewhere, may have been the ACO site, that the ACO were increasing the number of free parking spaces this year due to the increased attendance.

I'm doing the same - I managed to snag a parking space at Expo for Thursday only then I assume we'll be on the airfield parking fro the rest of the weekend.
I'm assuming you'll be able to walk straight across what would have been parking blanc towards the back of the stands but who knows...

I'm in the same situation - I've been parking at Expo for 20+ years but now I presume it's all gone to Corporate Hospitality - no doubt as it's year 100. The organisers don't seem to care a stuff for the loyal fans. I too will have to look to the airfield as the only place to park. Not impressed - but I've never known LM to be well organised - it's just that this year has been the worst so far by a country mile. For first timers I don't think it will seem so much fun. At least now I know my way around a bit and it's probably as much a social event for me as it is a race - the race just happens to be in the middle of a whole lot else that I enjoy just as much - if not more. And I couldn't get a grandstand seat this year - the first time I've ever missed out.
I’ve just received an email from ACO, asking to check home address details correct.
They will be sending a windscreen sticker for parking to the ticket purchasers home address. They say the e-ticket will not need to be exchanged on arrival.
If buying a parking ticket from someone, just consider this issue.
I imagine the scenario will be, ticket but no sticker equals no entry.

The emailed parking ticket quite clearly state in Capitals "TO BE SWAPPED FOR A STICKER A THE CAR PARK ENTRANCE" They will be sending a windscreen sticker for parking to the ticket purchasers home address. They say the e-ticket will not need to be exchanged on arrival.

My assumption is that if you have a ticket and no sticker they'll swap your ticket for a sticker. If you already have the sticker as they've sent it out then you're all good - sending the stickers out should speed up the process at the gate. However this is Le Mans so anything could happen.
