Off circuit camping

Can anyone recommend a good off circuit camping site?

Depends what you're after but I use Houssay (Spay) which I've always found good. If you book the Annex you aren't limited to pitch size.

I managed to get onsite camping, but I did have a plan B which might be useful...

Not sure if they have any space left now but I was going to stay at Camping Smile & Braudieres just north of Le Mans.

There's a car park called Effia Gare Du Mans in the centre of town right next to the train station which you can prebook online. Plan was to drive there each day, park up and then take the T1 tram down to the circuit.

Bit of a mission, but if needs must...

They do have spaces Poggle (hi again by the way!),

I just booked Wednesday until Monday for about 40 Euros - not bad for a plan B
