Hopefully going next year, last time was 2012, this time could be by myself, but hey ho,
for Friday, do you need to purchase a weekly ticket or will a weekend one suffice?
Many thanks
Roger

To arrive in the Friday? If you’re not staying on one of the campsites within the track or going to see the support race, or do the track walk (assuming that’s on again this year) you won’t need a full week ticket, if you are you will.

You've needed a General Entrance ticket to get into the internal campsites, not that there are many left.

There will be all sort of things happening on Friday, because its the centenary. Probably best avoided.

Is there such a thing as just a weekend ticket? I thought they covered the week

The other thing to cobsider is where you're staying vs. what you want to do on Friday (vs. how lazy you are).

Obviously if you want to do something inside the circuit you'd need a ticket, but if you're camping in Bleu and want to get the tram into town for the Driver's Parade, well it's a quicker to walk through the circuit (needing a ticket) than down past Beausjour/up around past Tetre Rouge (not needing one).

WE ticket 83 euros early purchase for Sat & Sun verses full week ticket at 91 euros early price. Less difference if concessions/ ACO etc and both probably more after end February.

Track walk etc and pitwalk were from 2.30pm (slipped to nearer 3pm) this year.

Hi guys,

Sorry to re-open this thread. I just wanted to clarify if you are able to access the village/bars/food outlets etc inside the track on Friday if you have a weekend ticket? I did this last year and there was no problem but just wanted to check if anyone knew if this was still the case?

Many thanks in advance,
Dan smile

I think you’ll need to wait for the ACO to tell us what they’re up to, things for next year aren’t following the usual pattern, there’s never been a restriction on weekly tickets before, and there are apparently plans for special events from 2-10 on Friday afternoon / evening with the drivers parade being moved to lunchtime, it could well be that Friday tickets will be sold separately.
Nothing is clear at this point.

Pitwalk on timetable for Friday 2.30pm to 7.30pm (assume full track open as well for walking, bikes and E scooters). Assume Mulsanne show on too.

Suggests a lot of opening stuff in town after drivers parade - assembling later in former parking Blanc area? (Unless it’s a firework area?)
