Morning all,

Back in August I sent an email to my normal agency to book 6x pitches in Bleu Nord and 10x GA to be told there was a waiting list. This morning I have received an email stating that all pitches are sold out and they cannot sell me either pitches or GA.

Can anyone point me in the direction of somewhere I can book the above.

Many thanks in advance,
Joe

General entry is available now via main ticket office.

Either sign up for ACO membership for early access to camping tickets when they go on sale in November.

Or chance it when they go on general sale.

There is also the option of staying off circuit.

If you haven’t tried 1st Tickets, I suggest you do - they’re normally good but if it is indeed sold out, you’ll have to either find another area of the circuit or wait and see if one pops up on the forum as unwanted due to a cancellation.

This – we/1st Tickets haven't gone on sale with our packages yet, although existing customers have been able to reserve pitches so we only have a limited amount left when we do go on general sale.

More information here https://www.pistonheads.com/news/general-pistonhea...

And you can register your interest here to gain access to our pre-sale https://mailchi.mp/1st-tickets/phlm2023

I don't think camping would be sold out not released yet. Also looks like Maison Blanche may be back as it is for the classic and already sold out.

I think Tour operators get an allocation so it may just be your agent that has sold out. They tend to know before the general sale goes live.

Worth contacting 1st tickets as they get a good allocation.

otherwise general sale is the end of november but there is usually only beausejour available by then (not a huge issue):

Thanks to the ACO, its all a muddle. There is an agents allocation system, but it doesn't seem to follow rules. E.g. this year Maison Blanche wasn't available, and I heard that the agents didn't get an equivalent allocation elsewhere, so were left short, but managed to sort everybody out.

Agents like Brian have a hard time.

Just spoken to Travel Destinations, only to discover they are sold out for the Porsche Curves camping.
Any recommendation for similar travel companies ?
Or is it too late for any good, secure camping tickets ?

You could always try the PH partner 1st Tickets with their private camping on Bleu Nord.....I guess it is a slightly quieter location given it is further away from the circuit but it is next to the airport - we've used the site since 2013 which is hopefully an indication of how good it is (& the likes of the Aston Martin Owners Club also use it too).

I think that there's some sort of crisis with camping tickets, so they're not on sale yet, and this is screwing everything up

I think it’s just an ACO shambles and they haven’t a clue they’re messing so many people around.

I'm told they were in chaos for the Classic this year as well due to a supposed improved printing system which seriously delayed the issuing of tickets.....how they'll cope with what could be a record attendance for 2023 is slightly worrying!!

Mind you, I’ve joined the ACO this evening to widen my options, paid up and got an email telling me of a ‘delay’ between joining and getting my ticketing privileges due to an unspecified issue with their system. No mention of this before paying the membership fee.
Hope this mysterious delay isn’t going to last until after the campsite tickets have gone on sale.

There was a hitch for a friend in our party buying GS tickets for first week or so of membership - had to call up a buy over phone with member discounts etc

Thanks, I’ll give them until a week before the members sale starts and give them a chase if nothing has come through by then

Latest message from the ACO (Google translate)

ENJOY THE LATEST TICKETS
Don't wait any longer, the stands are already full and there are only
10,000 tickets at the Early* rate and 15,000 Week Entry tickets

Yes, I’ve had that email, it appears I can now buy tickets at the members price.
I’m a bit baffled by it though, there’s never been any capacity limit before, and they’re only talking about full week tickets, why limit the sale of those and then sell weekend tickets at a lower value?
The ACO are completely doing my head in with how they’re handling next years race, no idea if I’m going to end up with my regular order from my usual agent, more tickets than I need, entry tickets but no decent campsite, double the number of entry and campsite tickets I need or something else.
It’s always been a mystery how the manage to put such a big event on each year but they’ve never been this bad before. I’ve normally got everything settled by the Tuesday after the previous years race.
