ACO website is the usual rubbish - but strangely it only has day tickets for Friday and Sunday. Will I be able to buy a day ticket on the gate for Saturday? I'm planning on coming midday - and staying for the group C night racing in the early hours then heading to our house in the Charente and pass out when I get there. Any reason why this won't work?

Group C only on track three times, Friday 09:35, 1940, Saturday 11:30, no night racing that I can see.

Ah wasn't sure - I knew I looked at the programme and there was interesting stuff (i.e. > 60s) running at night.

Hi LayZ, I have the same problem, I wrote to the ACO and asked the same question.
Here is the reply from the ACO

"Dear Sir,

We don’t have tickets for Saturday only.

If you want to access to the circuit on Saturday, you have to take 4 Days – General Admission.

Kind Regards,"

Personally I cant see this working for us as we will have the Girls with us and we were hoping just to visit for 2 or 3 hours then head back to our accommodation for the weekend which is an hour away. Sad really, I do wonder how local French family's would fair better? I can understand the ACO mainly wanting to sell a whole weekend ticket but I doubt now we will attend.

You could always just visit the Hotel Arbour and the Hunaudieres bar on Mulsanne, no ticket needed.

Yes that is an option but to be honest, we would not really be there for the racing, just a general look around at the various trade stands and car clubs. Lets face it, the racing is nothing compared to the Goodwood revival

@fatboy18 thanks for doing the digging I was too lazy to do! This seems silly, the numbers of people who come Saturday, stay up all night and watch Sunday must be tiny. Four day is only double the one day price so not crazy in the scheme of things.
