I’d booked weekend tickets as we weren’t expecting to get there early enough, however we may now be able to get an earlier tunnel.

Would we be allowed to see the pit lane as part of the open session on Friday, even though are tickets are Sat and Sun only?

I guess not, but if that’s the case, we’ll try and get there early for the Mulsanne even and/or CBW.

From ACO website

FRI 10th
14:30
19:00
ACTIVITIE : PIT WALK
There is no racing on the Friday. The pit lane is open to the public all day. Those with an “Enceinte Générale” ticket can observe the 62 cars and their drivers and jostle for photographs in front of the garages. For most spectators, a selfie with a driver is an absolute must!

Cheers but I don’t know what an Enceinte Generale ticket is - if it’s the full-week ticket then we aren’t getting in.

It’s the basic ticket that gets you into the circuit so you should be ok.

The ticket has dates on the front.
Test day Sunday then Wednesday Thursday and the weekend.
If your is weekend only 11 &12 th you will probably be turned away as the QR code won’t open the gate

Which is useless info from ACO as usual. There are races till lunchtime, pit lane doesn't open to the public till 2.30pm, so most of the time it's open will cut into time many people are heading into town for the parade.

Thanks for the replies, the situation is irrelevant for me now as we will be leaving late evening so will miss the Friday events anyway.

The programme and some of the maps around the circuit have the concert as being in the Dunlop bridge location, not where it’s been moved to, it’s always a wonder they manage to the race on
