Normally we have a local in Le Mans very much involved in this group - it's been so long his PH name slips my mind, but I have yet to see anything this year.

Anyone else? Hope he is still with us!

Lowdrag?

He's still posting recently, just not in here.

Last post 4 days ago, I looked a couple of weeks ago as I'd missed his inside knowledge. I hope he returns.

I'm here, but for some reason I couldn't log into the Le Mans forum for a few days. You may have read my post about food shortages, but if not do so. Chips are in very short supply in restaurants due to no cooking oil being available. And everything has of course gone up in price.

As I write the rain is lashing down, has done for a few hours, and the roads are awash. Today and tomorrow are the same and I see the weather forecast has just changed to showers and 25C from Thursday through the weekend. Where the hell is the cat? At least the forecast for Sunday is dry since I am rallying all day in the XKSS..

If you need any help, I'll follow the forum from now on.

Cheers for the update, very much appreciated.

Bad news on chips, but looking positive for the race weekend weather.

Quick question, whats the current protocol on mask wearing? Do we need wear masks, everywhere, just in the shops and tram, or not at all?

The only time I have been asked to wear a mask was, bizarrely, when I went to see my dentist! No, there are those who continue to wear them but Covid has all but disappeared it seems. I am called up for my fourth jab now. People who continue to wear them stand out as a curiosity.Sad to hear that the cat has been - er - transmogrified.
