Have you got your tickets in hand? Do they have pitch numbers?
I remember when Maison Blanche went from free for all to allocated by the marshals. No pitch numbers, but it took a lot of hand gestures and terrible French to convince them that the taped out area was for five pitches (three of whom were turning up later) rather than the two of us in the 'advance party'.
Have to say, now they allocate place and rang there's no aggro.

Does anyone know if the pitches are marked out or is it a "grab what can". My group turn up over 3 days, and we'd like to be together
Epinettes is fairly chilled. We're there this year and have been for a few years now.The site is old school style. No numbers, but marked out plots. They show you the plots and if you have a number of plots in your group just ask them to let you have that many. It's all quite simple, we've done that for the past few years (admittedly all pre Covid) but it is fine.

Go to google translate, write a note that you have more people arriving over the next few days and have a total of 8 tickets. Alternatively the first cars take all the tickets and show them to the marshal. Just met the new cars outside and give them the relevant ticket.
we had to justify our land grab in Tertre Rouge to the marshals one year - luckily we'd taken photocopies of the other permits with us and had written "arrivée jeudi" on them. Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
