I've ended up on the ferry that lands in Dieppe at 3am on Thursday morning. My plan is to stop not too far from the ferry and get a few hours kip in the motorhome before heading the rest of the way down at a sensible hour.

I've found a few aires on Google Maps, but wondered if anyone had a recommendation for somewhere to pull in for a few hours at that time of the morning?

That is our normal route and will be on the same ferry this year. We normally press on to get to Arnage SuperU for breakfast and stocking up. On the occasions we have stopped for a nap then recommend driving the first hour or so to get south of Rouen in the quiet hours. Domaine d’harcourt on the A28 is as good as any then Bob in for rillette breakfast

This is a place we always stop at for a coffee, fromage & jambon baguette and chips. Its 2 hours from Dieppe, has parking for HGVs who usually stop by for an eye opener at the bar while we're there. Loads of parking, easy turn around for tractors and lorries so no problems with a motorhome.

There's a lay-by a couple of miles out of Dieppe, and one a mile south of Rouen, but they're likely to be full of trucks until about 6am. On the N138/D438 there's an aire just north of Gace and another pair 5 miles south of Gace, which is about 100 miles from Dieppe
