As per title, has anyone done flexotel at Le Mans, do you think it’s worth the money and are there many pros and cons. Thanks

From what I can see it's just a 3X2 room, if they had a shower, toilet, sink it would entice me a lot more. For a room only I'd rather save myself £4-500 and stay in the PH 1st Tickets site. Same perks just in a tent as far as I can see. I can understand why people would want to do it but for a cost/vs value perspective it's not for me.

It does seem a lot of money for what you get.

Just noticed this on their page which while expensive makes it a far more compelling proposition:

Upgrades to ensuite “Comfortel rooms” (with private shower room & toilet) are available at an additional supplement of £350.00 per person.

I think it is worth it if you are traveling in from abroad on an aeroplane, where the alternative would be getting a hotel room somewhat distant from the track, or buying a load of camping gear on arrival.

With the Flexotel you can get the TGV from Paris to LM and then the tram from the station to the circuit and a 5 minute walk to the Flexotel compound.

No idea how much esprit de corps amongst Flexotel guests there is, but camping is a big part of the LM experience.

Yeah totally agree, about the camping and that whole experience.
I didn’t think I could make it this year but things have changed and now I can. We normally do it on a budget because of others in the group but one of the lads in the group didn’t cancel or move his tunnel crossing so we are going, just wanted to do things a bit nicer as we can both upgrade a bit but it’s getting late in the day for finding it.

I'm driving down with my son and staying in the Flexotel this year.

We stayed there a couple of years ago, and yes its expensive.

Reasons we're staying there again:
1. Couldn't get on the campsite with the rest of our contingent as I was too late confirming I could go
2. Regardless of the weather, its a dry space, and when it chucked it down previously, we were able to leave our stuff to dry
3. We get a power socket so can charge all the paraphernalia without having to leave the ignition on in the car.
4. Decent location, parking, toilets and showers. (With good security to keep it that way)
5. It just worked well

So if you end up there, look out for us in a Green Exige

We've looked at Flexotel a few times but can't justify the added cost. We use TD Event Tents which are comfortable enough and have the same security/facilities as Flexotel. The ability to charge phones etc is a bonus although never been an issue at Event Tents either.
