Hello,
Will be backpacking into LM from US potentially via Scotland (Aberdeen). Did this once before in 2011 and found some camping spots on this forum.

Was wondering if there's anyone that wants to distribute the cost of their camping spot a bit in exchange some real estate.

It depends on your budget....I know the PH 1st Tickets partner had a few spaces on their Bleu Nord private campsite so it might be worth speaking with Brian/Lauren at 1st Tickets- they offer a secure site and clean private toilets/wash facilities as well as a marquee etc.

Yes, I saw the posts about that, and it would be pretty great.
Can't buy it without a car slot.

He doesnt need a 5 by 7 pitch though! what he wants is a tent sized patch on someone elses pitch for which he is prepared to contribute to the cost.

Tbh if you’ve just got a backpack and no vehicle you could just walk in to one of the unmarked plot sites outside the circuit proper eg Beausejour. Pitch your tent, job done. If it’s camaraderie you’re after we have one of your countrymen coming over as usual in our small group but we are out at Arnage this year

You could walk in through the main entrance by the arena and pitch in Garage Vert, we’ll be arriving on Friday morning and can you can jump in a car if that’s required as there are no pitch limits

Thanks for the advice fellas. Reached out to @eps and have also followed up with 1st tickets concerning a spot within their private area without a car. Food + Beer + Tent being taken care of is really attractive but I do love meeting new people so long as I can depart with both my kidneys.

Got my camping spot for 2011 from a guy on this forum when i wrapped 24HoLM into first trip to Europe.
Ordered my General Admission Ticket over the mail but didn't figure out where I'd sleep before leaving! Lucked out and got adopted by a bunch of people outside of London and they fed me and kept me full of drink. Older, wiser an more amptly funded this time was hoping to link up with them again this year to repay the favor but they appear to not be going again.

Tent pitched in Blue Nord (i think) for street cred. Will likely downsize due to back problems. Have a ton of pictures of the obligatory stack of beers.

I still have some email addresses i never followed up with i think written down in a notebook. For all i know the guys were from this forum also.
