Le Mans Classic Solo Tripping
Discussion
I'm planning on heading to my first Classic this year. I was supposed to be heading down with my cousin but unfortunately he can't make the trip anymore. I'm yet to book my crossing and tickets yet, hoping there is still camping space at Maison Blanche.
Are there any groups or fellow solo trippers happy to convoy down?
Any points or advise for the Classic compared with the 24hr would be more than welcomed.
Any TVR Car Clubs heading to the Classic?
Thanks in advance.

It is a bit more civilised than the 24hrs, for good or ill.The racing doesn't get started until 4pm on the Saturday and then carries on until the next day.
Make sure you have suitable tickets to get into the paddocks.
They normally suggest a dress code but it doesn't seem to be especially enforced, but people are mostly dressed fairly smart - you would look out of place in a football shirt and shorts etc, but it is not the 'fancy dress' of the Goodwood Revival.
The 1920s cars are v slow, so there's big gaps between laps.
