We're working on designs for this year. Any special requests/favourites that people would like to see back in the store? We can do front and rear printing now too! biggrin

Edit to add: Thanks for all the input everyone, our full PHLM range is now available here. Don't forget to use code EASTER10 to get 10% off your order before the 18th April!

Polo shirts!

2009 was the only year you did them and they were brilliant.

Only ditched mine last year when it finally fell apart.

Pretty sure we can do polo shirts! Anything particular you'd want to see on them?

Anything really. The last ones had the circuit length, lap record and something else that escapes me. Was is vaguely Gulf colours too.

Perhaps something a bit Art Deco? Classic racing car with driver in goggles, etc? Would obviously double up as something for the Classic too then.

Def polo shirts! Much better than t-shirts especially when we're down there in the sunshine/pouring rain.

I like the new design (have bought 2x t-shirts) and would love to see these on black/white polo shirts too. Cheers

I had a call with our merch partner last week and polos are a bit limited unfortunately – apparently printing on them doesn't really come out well so embroidery is the only option.

They're looking at updating some old favourites and creating some new designs too. I'll ask about long sleeve tees as well!

The 2009 polos were printed and were fine. Different suppliers I know, but you'd think technology has improved since then!

Not the slightest bit interested in T shirts, long or short sleeve.

Polo with embroidered PH logo surrounded by circuit map or something along those lines, doesn't have to be big print, something more classy as my group are such a classy bunch biggrin

I really like that logo with the silhouettes of a car, bbq and beer glass, the addition of the 24 hr logo would be perfect for me

Good idea! I'll see if it's possible.

Have you got a link to the logo you're talking about, was it an old PH design? Sadly we're not licensed to use the 24 logo so wouldn't be able to include that.

Mine died last year. It lives on as a garage cloth though. Still have my 2009 T shirt, but now only as pyjamas.

Ben, whatever you do, avoid yellow. It attracts every flying and crawling bug imaginable. That goes for orange too!

That was a good one, I still have mine too. I used to buy several back then and still have one in its wrapping.

That looks terrible imo. The front looks like something staff at a garden centre would wear colour and the rear looks like a stag do.

Surely just a smart Polo shirt with the PH Logo on the front, then the year, and the track outline on the rear would be a little less Essex. Probably be better for business and cost to drop the year but offer a selection of colours creating further options in years to come.

It wasn't terrible and if memory serves, it sold very well. The quality was excellent too.

Pistonheads logo on the front and a Le Mans track outline on the shoulder or back.

Now that's impressive! Glad I'm not the only one that still has t-shirts I bought over a decade ago hehe

Thanks for the suggestions all, I'll see what's possible with the polos.

What year was it when the PH t-shirts were bright yellow and attracted thousands of flies?
