flying from paris - how long to reach the airport
Discussion
Hi
Question about access and traffic jams. Some colleagues will be returning by plane to spain. It takes 2.30 hours to go from the track to Charles De Gaulle airport, but, after the race, with traffic jams etc, how long might it take? I assume there will be a lot of traffic jams just after the race, so maybe its safer to leave the track at 6 or so?
Thanks

There are a couple of variables; where on the track will you be, what time do you need to be at the airport?Question about access and traffic jams. If your down near Mulsanne corner then the route out won’t add much if leaving at the end of the race, however if you are intending to see the end and remain on the start/finish straight, then yes, it’ll be pig and could take a couple of hours to clear traffic
Not much help, but this has been covered on one of the other threads recently trying to assist some teachers

Thanks. We will be in bsj. Regarding trains, I think car is a better option for camping to move around the track
The flight is at 10pm, I think there’s plenty of time but it’s my very first time in Le Mans, so I prefer to check it
Thanks
Should be OK, head out to Ruaudin then Change to pick up the A28, there'll be traffic but not anywhere near as bad as through the centre or the West sideThe flight is at 10pm, I think there’s plenty of time but it’s my very first time in Le Mans, so I prefer to check it
