Hi All, have been many times and pondering going in June this year but understand that the crowds are limited (at the moment) to 70k, so slightly more than last year. Maybe this will be increased in the coming months.

Wondering how it was last year, atmosphere wise, with small crowd and (presumably) lack of fair-ground and the drivers parade. I understand a lot of the eateries and bars were also closed, so restricted to the main circuit for food and drink. Worth going? Or wait for 2023?

I haven’t seen the limit of 70k anywhere and going by scarcity of camping tickets now I would assume it going to be a larger crowd than last year.....I had heard 200k. The closing of Mason Blanc seems to have created some issues, especially past allocation expectations and trying to squeeze people in

I went last year but did it differently, didn’t camp and travelled in...it was different but I was there and that’s what mattered, it was wet but plenty of viewing spaces not normally available. Auberge was open as normal as was KFC, D’Art etc

For me just being there was important, being in France and enjoying the trip with some mates and am all booked up again for this year, and I will be next.

Campsite bookings are way up from last year. Although maybe limits is why they are sold out thinking about it.

Pleased I made the effort last year and all booked up for 2022.
Beer, junk food, your mates and cars - what’s not to like? There were still plenty of food options, although nothing at Arnage.
Quite enjoyed being able to get around more easily and with less queuing.
Looking forward to this year - hopefully the usual enjoyable chaos will return.

Panic not - referring to last year!
Arnage was fully accessible, very quiet, but lacking the food and beverage stands for the 2am sausage and beer that is an annual treat.
Hopefully normal service will be restored this year.

The Harlequin and the other two bars near the roundabout were closed very quiet as was the circuit

These were taken on race Saturday

You've got to have a punt. What it'll be like is anyone's guess - just keep everything crossed

I think you just have to go with the flow…the racing is on and it’s looking a really good year for LMP2 and GT with Hypercars gaining a pace.

As a long time fan and supporter of the race I went last year for just that, the race. Went with a reduced crowd (just three of us) and as ever we had a blast….each year we do something a little different to ensure there are new adventures so for the first time we didn’t camp, oh to be clean

Can’t wait to get there again, it’s my annual pilgrimage

Team Langoustine did take it on but it seems to have disappeared from their website.
