Just popped into my in-box
FOUR DAYS TO GO!
TICKETS GO ON SALE TO MEMBERS ON TUESDAY 7 DECEMBER AT 10:00 A.M.!
That’s 9am GMT.
Love the way that the ACO gives plenty of notice so you can re-arrange your diary to ensure you have time to battle with their website.

Yes, I really like the fact that I have the nightshift next week. (NOT)
In the past I took the day off to be able to apply for the tickets I wanted, but I won't do that this time around.

Aaaahhhhhhhhh… a weird feeling of calm.

Still feels slightly odd, but committed to the classic event instead of 24hrs next year.

Though blood pressure raised just thinking about the log in credentials suddenly not working, website crash, then having to make Facebook appeals to ACO or hoping someone picks up phone calls to helpline to sort the tickets.

Will be back to the normal routine for 2022 race though.

Do you know when they become available to the general public?

Usually all booked up by now and well into the detailed planning of how we're going to smuggle extraordinary volumes of booze onto the campsites.

Just got this nagging feeling LM won't be back to 'normal' for a while yet.

Still, worth a punt, I'm desperately missing the sights, sounds and those stty little beers.

Tickets Booked!

It’s the first time I’ve been an ACO member and booked through their website directly. Apart from a long wait time and then trying to understand the campsites, not a bad experience - roll on June!

Booked.

Much better online experience than previous years, but still had to go through the queue a few times as it kept letting me in to the 24hr Motorbike ticket site!

Concur, website finally improved.
I don't mind the wait 3 min thing, at least you can see something happening rather than the page just hanging and failing!

Booked camping, no point booking entry until later.
ACO still worthwhile for the discount. Just a shame we can't really make any use of the numerous other benefits.

ACO also have a sense of humour as regards to the holding screen; amused by the safety car reference; think it was a rolling re-start though.

How did you all get on this morning, tried as I may couldn’t seem to be able to select a seat in Tribune 18, the ACO Grandstand, just kept being offered a numbered seat in Tribune 4. Did anyone get a seat in the ACO grandstand .

Yes ! I enjoyed this too ! Got my grandstand and GE tickets and still got €43 credit left on my account smile

Camping tickets were bought in Dec 2019 and not used yet !

See you there.

I had a little look to see what was on offer.

Was it just me or have they scrapped the ability to pick your grandstand seat?

It seemed you can only select a stand you prefer and it would then allocate a seat or give you something else as close to your pick?

After you had picked your grandstand, I recall that on the next page there was an option to change your seat selection.
Wasn’t entirely clear.
Think I was overcome by being able to log on and book without it taking all morning and resorting to calling the ticket office!
Time to arrange a trip to the pub (whilst we still can) and have planning meeting number 1.
Anyone worked out how many days to go?

Out of interest, how does the pricing compare to previous years? Have they put a "because corona" 1.3x multiplier on or anything?
