Hi All

Just wondered what the Friday of 24H might look like in 2022? Anyone able to shed any light?

Official website only has Program details from this year.

This year they held races on the Friday, cancelling most of the usual activities (pit walk, CBW).

Can't see anything about 2022.

Thanks

From memory the reason for the Friday races was due to the compacted schedule and not wanting to have the Pit Walk due to Covid so based on pure speculation I think it will be back to normal for 2022 smile

I think the ACO would get a lot of adverse feedback locally if they did away with the Friday being a clear day, that must be the day the local area cashes in

Unless we're under fresh Covid restrictions I think it's safe to say the mayor of Le Mans will quite strongly tie no action at the circuit on Friday and the return of the drivers parade* to agreeing to the requiired public road closures.

  • Or is it driver's parade? If it the parade of many drivers or the parade belonging to the drivers...?

Hope so, I bet the ACO liked the extra entry fees from the races this year though
