Countdown to 2022 begins!
Who is booked already?
Where are you staying?
There’s 4 of us going (deferred from this year). Booked with Travel Destinations in Event Tents.
The next 10 months will be slow….here’s hoping there will be no COVID factor by June (at least not to impact spectators numbers etc)

Planning on attending, but if there are still restrictions like having a negative test before returning to the UK it might be too big a risk being stuck in France for 10 extra days or whatever the 'punishment' would be for catching the lurgy at the event.
Or you might have to plan on a sub 3-day trip and use the same -ve test for outbound and inbound journeys.

2021 was difficult to watch, full stop.
I'm planning a family trip for 2022.
Having only been on the usual lads trips, and having never done a family trip before, I'd be grateful for any recommendations for how to make it a bit quieter/calmer and which are the more family-friendly campsites.

Stay off circuit. Plenty of options within 20min drive of the circuit.I'm planning a family trip for 2022.

A lot more family friendly.
I've just booked with Club Valan at the aerodrome. I love this location, with a bike I can get to the main gates in minutes and so near Arnarge.
I had my last trip 2019 at the Scots bar near the main gates. But I think this has been demolished.
Those high Eurosport images had me imagining each bar, viewing area, bike rack, pee stop, each camp site, restaurant, Stella bar, Carrefour, every track gate entrance, the tram station, ... man i'm missing my france week

Check out the village of Spay, I stayed Airbnb but I noticed there is a family campsite there, domaine de Hussey. Nearby there’s a zoo, and to the north a water park.
Worth a look.

Will be there in 2022, but the loss of the Hull - Zeebrugge ferry will make the trip from Edinburgh an absolute ball ache; especially the timings for getting home…
Still got Hull->Rotterdam or Newcastle->Ijmuden, though both are a bit further away.I'm lamenting the loss of the Pride of York as well!

Where do you get campsite and race tickets without going through 3rd party companies?
Any suggestions for good campsites for motorhomes?
Tickets can be bought direct from the ACO - with discounts for members.Any suggestions for good campsites for motorhomes?
Campsites much of a muchness for motorhomes, but only Houx (not the Annexe) has official electricity.

Ah, I thought all ferry services had ceased from Hull.I'm lamenting the loss of the Pride of York as well!
Regardless though getting to Holland from LM would mean a circa 5am start which is brutal when you have to vacuum pack TVRs with tents etc….
