Le Mans 2022 - best camping for motorhomes?
Discussion
Morning all,
I'll just caveat what i'm about to ask with the phrase "Assuming the 2022 race actually goes ahead as normal"....
I've got the opportunity to borrow a family motorhome for the race next year and was wondering, where would be the best place to camp with it? I've only seen two locations on-circuit, which are PZ54 and one other, the name of which escapes me (maybe Technopark?).
The last time I went to a race was 2009, I was camping and the whole thing got orgnanised by someone else, so I'm a bit ignorant of the options available.
Are either of those sites any good? Do either of them have space for a car too? I ask because i'd be driving down to meeting my father-in-law in France with the motorhome and taking both vehicles into the site for the week.
Any advice or info would be much appreciated!
Thanks.....

What size motorhome? A regular one should be ok anywhere
I don't know the exact dimensions at the moment.I can tell you that its a Fiat chassis, 6-birth Dethleffs, so a good size but not massive. Understand it would probably fit anywhere, but i'd like somewhere with reasonable facilities and hard standing at the very least. If the location has good security etc then so much the better.
Camped at Beausejour in 2009 and swore I wouldn't do it again (at least not in a tent at any rate - i'm not a fan of sleeping under canvas).
Houx is the only site that officially has electricity if you want to be plugged in, but you'll still be parked on grass.
The standard camping spot is 7.5m long, so if you are longer than that you'll need >1 camping ticket (either 2 for yourself or being part of a larger group that doesn't mind you taking up the space)
I believe the massive American RVs have to go in a specific area but it sounds like that doesn't apply.
