Should we be worried by the cancellation of the Paris Air Show June 21?

Isn't the Paris airshow mainly a trade show for the aviation industry? I would assume the knackered state of the industry is more likely to blame - no expensive stands to sell!

Its international too!

Whilst we may be vaccinated by then and OK, they're a lot more of the world to do, and this could take a year. Then you have the people that won't have the vaccine, who could be wiped out by one chap from the other side of the planet.

There is probably risk to the entire event and the competitors if there is another year without Le Mans. I could see a huge withdrawal of money. A lot have rolled over their money to this year and so it will be a little tough. If it is cancelled again then I could see the money pulling out which would be effectively 2 years worth of no cash and that would be game over.

Even if the 24hrs runs then I suspect 2021 will be difficult for lots of teams as there will be a squeeze on sponsorship money all round, both from corporates and gentlemen drivers (unless the owner of Zoom is a race fan biggrin ).

Have the ACO been given any government money like MSV have over here?
