Summertime Blues
Discussion
Now there's a chance that we can go to France in 2021, we have the problem of the EU ending Daylight Saving Time. Member states can opt to stay with Summertime or Wintertime, so will only be an hour ahead for half the year, or maybe 2 hours ahead.
I've always thought it would be easier just to get up earlier in the summer on GMT, but I think they do it to confuse everybody, especially the ferries and airlines

There must be a better than 50/50 chance it'll happen in June, especially if other vaccines get approval (they're easier, quicker and cheaper to produce)
My concern is that there'd be a risk that your ferry would leave an hour earlier than it said on the booking.
According to Google, the airlines made a big fuss, as did the computer industry, and then the Irish realised the Island would have two different time zones, so nothing much has progressed, although the French want permanent summer time, so it won't make any difference.
