Thought I’d start a thread for anyone who’s here with any news for us who have made the journey. We arrived this afternoon, had a beer at Tetre Rouge, they were closing at 4pm for the rest of the week. The Hunaudieres bar is open, they are open all week, viewing from upstairs, no screening by the car park. Arbor had cars parked, but Lowdrag had no response from knocking. Drove round to Arnage corner, not usually open race week fro memory. Museum is open all week so will be visiting this week. Happy days.
That is a great effort Vette, now feeling very envious. I wonder if the TR bar was instructed to close to discourage people gathering...? Such a shame that all our usual bars and restaurants will have struggled so much this year and may struggle to remain in business.
Fingers crossed we can start planning for LM2021 next June, it's less than 9 months to go...

Visited the museum today, got a Porsche exhibition of their 70 years I think, nice 917 collection, easy parking over the road. Went to usual Mulsanne boulangerie for lunch, saw the same ladies there, they are closed Sunday. All very quiet. On the plus side went out to Le Lude for first time today and met Leyorkie for a wonderful steak. Also, the toilet at Carrefour has never been so clean. Had merguez for breakfast and now watching Eurosport for the evening with nasty cheap wine, tres bien.
I have just woken up. I seem to think that we had a good afternoon here, but am not completely sure. Perhaps some of the participants will say if it was so. I have awoken to a red flag and apparently a bad accident at Tertre Rouge. Thanks to everyone for coming and participating at the buffet we set out. You were all most amusing and as far as I am concerned we had a good time. I hope that goes for you also.

That's the LM24 done correctly!
If you want the best cakes and tarts, go one step further from Mulsanne to Ruaudin. Their reputation precedes them. And if anyone want a beer, I shall be at my favourite bar this lunchtime at midday. It's in the back of Mulsanne town near the church. If you put 47 54 26.30N and 0 14 66.02E in your GPS you'll get there. if you like Thai food, the patronne is Thai and will do your curry as hot as you like. Also burger and chips, omelettes etc.The bar is called The Break. I am already revving up. Madame is leaving shortly to go visit her family and won't be back until after the weekend.

Our favourite places in Arnage have slowly stopped doing business or changed hands and are never the same...

Well, were were three today at the Break, Phil and friend with the Corvette and me with the XKSS. We passeda a good couple of hours together and they are off into town for a good meal. I shall be there again at noon as always if anyone else wants to join in for a beer. The Stella bar at Tertre Rouge is, they tell me, closed for the weekend.
