Le Mans film on iPlayer
Discussion
Just watched the 1981 documentary on iPlayer. Great stuff.
I'd vaguely heard of de Cadenet (more Amanda than Alain I think) and Guy Edwards and, of course, knew of Derek Bell but it made me yearn for the days when there were characters in sport.
Bit of a performance by de Cadenet but he succeeded in charming when you might at first have been tempted to think he was a bit of a w****r.
Super television. You couldn't make it now.

Thanks, based on your positive feedback I watched this last night and really enjoyed it.I'd vaguely heard of de Cadenet (more Amanda than Alain I think) and Guy Edwards and, of course, knew of Derek Bell but it made me yearn for the days when there were characters in sport.
