I'm booking with the TVRCC, but wondering the best way to get over (Le Shuttle / Ferry) with an S3..

Any advice on who to book with?

I've done both, and prefer the Le Shuttle to the ferry. It's quicker, you don't get seasick , and you don't have to worry about other passengers banging your paintwork with their car doors . Last year I found that is cheaper if you book it before the end of the year too, approx £100 instead of £130.

What else, no problems with ground clearance, just remember to pack your camping gas at the top of the boot 'cause they always want to check it!!

Cheers,

Neil

Cheers for the advise rocket. The Eurotunnel is my favorite options, as I want to keep my beer-legs intact reading for when I arrive!

Where did you book the tickets as the 100/130 you mention is far cheaper than the 230 I've been quoted so far for a car and two passengers..

Hi Rod,
I haven't booked it yet, but I just entered my preferred crossing details into the Eurotunnel website and it quoted me a price of £117. The dates I chose were Thurs 12th June, returning on the Monday 16th June. This is quoted as a special offer available if you book before 13th Oct, so I'd better get my skates on. Good luck,

Cheers,

Neil

Just wondering if anyone has any advice on the ticketing options available.
I've been once before - but it was about 12 years ago and with an organised tour.

I guess I need the camping Houx & a General Admission?
Whats the Friday Coach ticket?

Any help much appreciated?

The coach ticket is for a coach from the camping area to Le Mans town centre where they do the 'Parade des Pilotes' which is the a big parade through the town with the Drivers and various other Car marques are invited (TVR last Yr) they also have Bands etc.
Oh yeah its normally organised chaos but fun.
Then the coach takes you back later after a few bears etc.
General Admission will get you everywhere except the Grandstands.
I took a grandstand last yr but not the YR before when i should have as it Pi55ed it down.
This yr i managed to fall asleep in the stand in a drunken haze
Book as early as u can to avoid disapointment.
