does anyone know if eurosport are covering the 24hrs in September and if so are they covering the whole race?

The last I heard was that Eurosport had the rights for this year.

They swap between Eurosport 1 & 2. The start and finish, plus night time is 1, so they can show other sports during the daylight hours. With all schedules for all sports being screwed up, it should still be fitted in somewhere, as Eurosport is based in France
