Unless it was mentioned on MWM last night (I've not caught up yet), all they've said so far is that they will be broadcasting coverage whether they're at the track or not, although if they're not the coverage might be a bit different.
I'd imagine though that if they're allowing 50,000 spectators, they'll allow the RSL team.

Other than the pit lane reporting the main commentating seems to be done via timing screens and tv monitors rather than someone looking directly at the track, so being remote shouldn't mean a poorer product.A large percentage of the 24 hours is the reporting from the pit lane which they need to be there for as it creates a great sense of being among it...particularly in the early hours when you can sense how tired the crews are. i hope they are there. i remember Le Mans pre RLM. Hourly updates and the the way to know what was going on in the pits was to spend hours watching!.

Will Radio Le Mans be Broadcasting from the circuit in September, just wouldn’t be the same without John Hindhaugh dull cide tones
Would you mean dulcet tones? He is anything but dull. However, I have read elsewhere that John Hindhaugh is quite seriously ill, but now can't find the reference on the internet.Gassing Station | Le Mans | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
