Clasic Le Mans cars
Discussion
Hi,
In the late 1950s, at the South Croydon Coffee Bar, you could get a ride round the block in an interesting car, for the price of a cup of coffee.
My moment of fame was in the 1931 MG 750cc (now minus it's supercharger) ... the one that siezed up after 23 hours (not sure which year)
I also came across a Lea Francis (Registration VC400) lying under a pile of rubbish in a garage in Scotland. The proprietor did not wish to discuss it. I contacted my mate, Mike Worthinton Williams, who told me it was a late 1930s Le Mans car.
