With the 2020 Classic moving to 2021 the future dates for the bi-annual event seem to be up in the air. They don't want to back-to-back at all, but still debating if they just move to odd years going forward, or just skip the 2022 event, so nothing between 2021 and 2024 -

Unless there is anything tying them to even years I suspect it will just continue on odd years for now. Unless there is something I missed about the even years?

It seems as though the relevance is to put on a classic with the 2023 centennial. After that it doesn’t matter

I can see multiple sides to it.

I can see logic behind having the classic on the centenary. But you'd assume they're going to make a big thing about the 100th running of the 24hrs though and having a classic in the same year could take some of the thunder from the 24hrs.

Doesn't really both me. While a classic car owner and driver I much prefer the 24hrs to the classic, so will be going to that in '23, regardless of there being a classic or not.

There will be no opportunity to go through the pandemic problems to most if not all of these events.

Geez, that's a very "glass half empty" view if you think events in 2023/24 are at risk!
